Rotating tires create a large amount of turbulent flow in and around the wheel wells, along with a local pressure spike above and behind the tire that can cause front end lift at high speeds. Fender vents allow this pressure a way to escape the wheel well, increasing front end downforce while also aiding with the evacuation of heat from the brake rotors and calipers. And since this pressure is exerted against the fender liner perpendicular to the axle due to tire rotation, a radial exit vent is ideal for efficiently dispersing it. A unique design originally made to work with a 2008 VW R32, these radial vents will also work with a variety of other cars with flat or high arched fenders and 18 inch wheels. Laser cut from .080 (2mm) 5052 and available with an attractive and durable gloss black powdercoat finish. Comes with paper template for test fitment/fender placement and black or silver aluminum rivets for flush mounting. Sold in pairs. Size: Approx. 22.75 L x 7 W.
