Description
Our universal hood vent features an integral Gurney flap to maximize the pressure differential above the hood for efficient heat extraction. Additionally, the integrated side fences create physical reversion barriers along the flanks of the vent and trailing vortices that further isolate the low pressure zone on top from free stream interference. Vent measures approximately 16 inches wide x 12 inches deep, with 1.4 inch angled vanes that are partially submerged for minimal drag and maximum heat extraction from under your hood. Each vent comes complete with a 1:1 cutting template, foam edge sealing tape and stainless M3 buttonhead mounting screws, plastic washers and nyloc flange nuts for a secure installation. For street/track cars, an aluminum wicker panel is also available to provide underhood protection from rain and the elements.
