YRC now offers a performance endplate design to improve the downforce and overall efficiency of the popular PCI Racing Airfoil. Endplates are also available in 5 powder coating options: raw aluminum, wrinkle black, matte black, gloss black and gloss white. Made from lightweight .063/.080 5052 aluminum, our CFD-tested endplates are designed to improve the performance of your existing airfoil. Available in both low drag and high downforce configurations, they work to improve the efficiency of your wing by decreasing the strength of the tip vortices. The straight low drag endplate incorporates over-wing pressure relief slots to blend the high and low pressure flows leaving the wing more smoothly, minimizing the size and strength of drag-producing wingtip vortices. The high downforce bend incorporates the same pressure relief slots above the wing, while also adding a lower flap to further improve underwing flow volume and decrease pressure under the airfoil. Each set includes 4 black M8 buttonhead hex screws for easy mounting to your airfoil pre-tapped ends. Please allow 2 weeks for laser cutting, fabrication and coating + 3-5 days for Domestic UPS Ground shipments.
